Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Oduyan Baker ("we") handles personal data when you use Money Manager. Oduyan Baker is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (email address, sign-in details from Google or Apple) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Finance data you enter (accounts, transactions, budgets, bills, pay, receipts) — to provide the Service and sync it across your devices. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Receipt images — processed by an AI service to read merchant, date and amounts when you choose to scan. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser information, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and fixing problems. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Messages (support emails) — to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Email notifications (welcome, receipts, bill reminders) — to keep you informed about your account. Legal basis: contract performance.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host our app, database, email and AI processing, acting on our instructions;
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
• professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed;
• authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside your country; where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your data or account, or it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example, order records).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email caldinafan@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls that limit each account to its own data, and an optional on-device PIN lock.

Cookies and local storage

We use only essential storage: your browser's local storage keeps your sign-in session and an offline copy of your finance data. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser settings, which will sign you out.
